The Explanation of Life
This I came across one day while talking with the boys from Vegalite (amazing band by the way) No I did not write it, but to me it makes a lot of sense, so here it is.....
This is not the way to make me feel better, This is not a system in which we can trust. we are not a blinking light on you neighbours car,and there is no way to travel through time.we are not as angry as we probably should be,and you will never see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. Life is not made of hugs and kisses and forgiveness and flowers, but of drugs and lies and murder and an overpopulation of mosquitos and not enough beef on our hamburgers and too many calories and saturated fats. ants are not a problemwe should never have to hear complaints aboiut aching backs and birdshit on our windows. we should never have to hear complaints about anythign we cannot change and control. we should never have to hear complaints about having to hear complaints. we should not have had to hear that. There is no god in a world governed by money and there is no money in a world governed by god. there is no money. there is no god. mathematics is an international language. love is an international language. love is mathematics.people are numbers. love is an equation. frustrationa nd loneliness are reminders of division. those who don't divide often multiply. children are the product of the institutions in which they are forced to grow. The nut does not resemble a pea. do you resemble a pea? will yor ever resemble a pea? you should never have to hide in a shell. you are not an advertisement for the latest line of swimwear. you are not a consumer you are being consumed. you are bought and sold everday by everyone you interact with. would you rather be the only casualty or the only survivor? the world is your playground. the world is your hamster wheel. keep on running. people taste better when they are lean and muscular. god likes his people with barbcue sauce and fruit. real fruit grows in the desert, in utter defiance of its surroundings. spiders and bad hair days are not your enemies. the future does not exist. tomorrow will never come,because it can never be tomorrow. it wants to because it does.
First Time
So my brother came home from work today to tell me that Amber was on here. And I think that is amazing. She's so talented and its good to see her living out her dream. I remember watching her with Intended Response, that show got me hooked. Keep up the good work, my thoughts are with you. Make Innisfail proud! And to everyone else she should really check her out.
