I love Spanish, and when I'm out of sorts it's the only language I will speak.
I think that there's more to life than just finding that "someone."
I usually think aloud. It gets me into trouble.
I hate deadlines.
I love music, but have a horrible vendetta against the radio.
People tell me I'd make a good Mom. They're absolutely nuts.
When I get bored I either sing or dance. Or do both.
I have a devious smile I only use for very special occasions.
I am a devoted lover.
I love the song "Puff the Magic Dragon" because it is a perfect metaphor for innocence..
I'm not what you expect. Don't try and change me.
I can do some damage with vegetarian-friendly Chinese food. Avocado sushi is one of my favorite things in the world, as is miso soup.
I don't censor myself often. You can assume that I will be blunt to you.
And yes, I am "a woman of intrigue." As always.

Okay, so this is sort of emo sounding, but it's just the logic I came to in a random burst of creativity... I channeled Sylvia Plath, her style, as seen in "Tulips." Loosely based on someone I know, someone I know of, and my own devious inventions. Consider it a letter, if you will.

You and I met under the haze of flourescent lighting and lace.
And now I watch you walk on.

Not because you're cruel or indifferent, just ignorant.

The grace, serenity only a 2 hour phone call can give.

Well, first blog post on PureVolume. Hollar. Got back from my week in California Saturday evening with a bad case of tension and a little bit of fatigue. Stayed at the beach with the family for a couple of days and played designated driver for 5 drunk ass adults in a 4 seater truck. Interesting to say the least. We listened to Sublime live.... It was great. Who'd have thought "Carress Me Down" could sound any better? That song's got an odd hold on me though... by the time it gets to the line "I didn't know she had the G.I. Joe kung-fu grip." I'm always...... yeeeah.. Okay, too much info. My bad.
I worked with developmentally disabled adults at one of the centers in my school network for the week. It was pretty fun, and VERY rewarding. It opened my eyes to see the sort of stigmas society always seems to hold on people like that. These people are BEAUTIFUL, loving and intelligent persons. They just communicate in a different fashion. They're some of the most kind-hearted and sweet tempered people I've ever encountered. It's hard to explain... The whole week went by so quickly. I'm so blessed to have been given the opportunity to go on this trip. I really am.
Plus I'm glad the airplane didn't go splodey. That would have been a HORRIBLE way to go.

Every now and then I try and write a song down, but
most of the time i just end up putting words together
and never officially writing them down. I do however
have 1 song that i wrote in my blog. I didnt really
spend much time on it...probably like 5 minutes...buti
had been putting different parts together in my head
for about 3 days before i actually wrote it.
