The Heavens Have Called Another.
A few days ago, a good friend of mine lost his father to cancer. My heart has been aching ever since I heard. How did my friend go on living life as normal as possible, while his father was slowly slipping away from him? I now believe that my friend is one of the strongest people I've met and will probably ever meet. Witnessing this event has made me realize how precious life is, and how we take it for granted, as cliche as that may be. I wish there was some way to make my friend happy, but I know this will just take time. I vow to always be there for him, no matter where I am, if he ever needs anything. I've lost loved ones and it is never easy, and it will never get easier, but I can say that I look up to you, Larr..bear. (:

Warped Tour Experience!!! '09
Wow the Vans Warped Tour was nothing and everything I expected!! :D First of all, I didn't know that, that many dang people went to this event! Second, I couldn't even imagine how hot it was being outside at the AT&T Center for 10 hours!! And lastly, the experince with the bands and the great vibe between everyone was more magical than I could ever think possible. Ok, I'm sure most of ya'll have been to a warped tour before, but for me this was my first and it was a moment I will never forget for the rest of my life. (: It took about an hour to actually get into the place and by this time, one person had already passed out from heat exhaustion; yeah it was that hot. :/ Once in there I was definitely hyped! I saw: There For Tomorrow, Meg and Dia, Underoath, Bayside, The White Tie Affair, The Devil Wears Prada, Chiodos, and 3OH!3, Attack Attack, and Escape the Fate. :D Damn that was so fun, well that day the temperature was 101 degrees, and about 116 degrees in the crowds! So yes unfortunately, I got sick. :( I was on the verge of passing out and kind of saw everything I had eaten and drank that day. :( lol But a helpful guy from the Vans merch tent helped my bf and I, and I got a free Vans bandana as a cool little puking souvenior. :P But my overall experience was amazing was fantastic and I can't wait till next year!!! :D
Love is in the air!
I love my gorgeous Gabe, and I always will. We've had some rough times and even lost eachother for a while. But we are strong, yet again! Muah <3 he's all mine, and I will forever be his babycakes. :D
