Roe-search continues . . .
Dr. Roe wanted me to rotate the tires on his motorized rascal cart because the wheels were squeeking. After some manual layer, we rotated the tires and the squeeking stopped. 30 minutes later the squeeking returned, and our efforts proved to be fruitless. And then, we took pictures of his electric car in the parking lot. We could only take two pictures though because his camera ran out of battery. Then, 2 and a half hours later, we started doing science, which wasnt as much fun.

Roe-search Day 1
Todai was the first official research day for Dr. James A. Roe (JAR). There was also a library assignment due at 5pm todai, which i had yet to finish and turn in, so i had research from 1pm to 5pm and a library assignment due at 5pm and i got off at 12pm but still had to eat lunch. I start working on the library assignment (CAREERS) around 1230ish and look up some information and start typing up the assignment paper. It turns about 1:15 and i head over to seaver to meet up with Dr. Roe to begin research. I left my application in my bag at the library, so he tells me to head over to the library and get the application so that he can sign it. I go over to the library, and it's about 1:35ish and continue working on my library assignment before 5pm and end up going back to Dr. Roe at about 2 o clock, 2:15ish and we figure out the paperwork. Then he tells me to go submit the paperwork back at University Hall so i go back to the library to finish up my library assignment. I finish up half the library assignment at about 3 o clock and head over to university hall to turn in my application, head up to administration and they tell me to go to Student Employment services to get some signatures. Student employment services says i need to complete a direct deposit form along with a voided check from my bank. So i start walking back to Seaver and go to the computer lab to finish up my library assignment. So the library assignment is finished and i go turn it in to Dr. Crawford, whose office is right next to Dr. Roe and the time is about 3:45ish when i finally return to Dr. Roe's office after he sent me out about an hour and a half to go turn in my application, which is incomplete so i tell him that i havent turned it in yet. And finally, there's an hour left til "research" is over and he gives me a 36 page book and tells me to make a copy of the book in the copy room, which i end up doing, copying a book (of a former research student) for about half an hour, which we then proceeded to scan after i had finished copying. Dr. Roe and i scanned the papers, made copies, and hole punched my copies, all on a copy machine that scanned, copied, e-mailed and hole punched at the touch of a button. JAR gave me a new binder so i could put my copies in, and then i went to Fr. Cain to try and squeeze in some office hours out of him, but that's another story.

Todai is the day after i Dj'd my first wedding, and they had giant chicken nuggets filled with ham. Congratulations to Caleb & Yam! Consummate the hell out of your honeymoon.
