Hey my name is Shayla but all my friends call me Shay. Im in the occupational therapy program at Kent and I cant wait to graduate and start my career; I love it :) Im a contrarian, you'll either love me or hate me. My interests include politics {DEMOCRAT}, reading, poetry, intelligent guys {aka one that can keep up with me} and sarcasm. I have vices; swearing and dirty dancing come to mind. Being considered ordinary or normal is an insult and Ill never be caught following the crowd. I pretty much despise the television and feel that anything else is better to fill my time. I hate drama and confrontation and will avoid people that cause them like the plague. Im a bible-believing Christian; a Baptist to be exact and I’m not ashamed of it. I thoroughly believe that helping someone is the best way to cheer yourself up. The best compliment I ever received was that Ill always have the courage to be my own person. This is your warning: I’m not like other girls; but I like it that way.

Yep, I've lived in Florida for 20 of 21 years. I lived
in West Palm Beach until I was 3 and my parents
divorced and then we went to a small town in NY for a
year and then moved here to the town I live in now.
been here going on 18 years. I always regret going to
the beach after I go but I do it every year pretty much
every year. I don't like going during the daytime, like
I already said, cause of all the people and drinking
and all the stuff I try and keep out of my life as much
as possible. I love passing out gospel tracts and
telling people about Jesus in the evening time though.

I live in Pensacola Florida. The beach is really nice
here but I hate going during the day. I am a night owl
anyway so I would rather go at night time. I've had sun
poisoning 3 times but that is cause I don't put
sunblock on. Haha, I'm not always the brightest.

Thanks for the pic comment/ compliment. I have 2
brothers (1 older, 1 younger) and three younger
sisters. Yeah, last time I went to the beach during the
day I blistered as well. I got a mild case of sun
poisoning as well. NOT fun at all. Oh it could always
be worst for sure. What beach do you live around?

Haha, I will probably do the exact same thing. I kind
of want to go to the beach tonight but I'm not sure if
I will. Depends on what my brother is doing and it
won't be until around 11 or so.
