Dear Logical Thoughts, She met this guy last week And he’s got so much soul. He’s little punk mixed with some reggae And rock and roll. I wont let her listen to you this time when you Tell her to stay in control. He’s lives for what he believes in And he’s proud of where he’s been. When he smiles she turns to putty And I start dancing around 110. So, I refuse to let you analyze this from the Outside looking in. For once she’s truly happy And that’s the best reason of all. She’s already in so deep And I’m about to let her fall. This time you can’t persuade me that there’s A good enough reason to stall. Logical thoughts I’m overpowering you With the fluttering of my song. No need for you to interrupt this melody, You already know that would be wrong. Realization
You cant make someone love you, And you cant forcefully love someone that fits your list. No one out there is perfect, You’ll always get who you need not who you wish. Fate will bring you someone who takes your breath away, Not someone who leaves you lost for words. It will give you someone with a quirk you can’t stand, All for the sake of improving yours. No set back can make love impossible, But maybe a little harder to see. Some people may seem so lucky in love, It’s just that those who seem lucky believe.
Untitled Melodies
When you picked up that guitar I knew right then and there. That this could be something special, With every move of your hand i couldn’t help but stare. I Just knew it all a long, that you where one remarkable soul. I know I could breath you for a lifetime, if you’d just give me your hand to hold. As your hands moved along those strings, you played the acoustic melodies of my heart. And with each and every chord you played i knew, The life i wished would finally start. So as i sat there listening to your strings, I just let my mind drift away. You made me feel so comfortable and If I had the choice last night i would have gladly stayed. I know it was nothing more than simple moment, a lets just relax all day long. And yea it was just something so beautifully simple, that turned amazing when you played those songs.
Why i like green
I like green because it’s the color of Everything that is new. And this might be a little out of line But I like it more because it reminds me of you. I like it because it reminds me of how Your eyes command my gaze. And how the mind behind those eyes Continues to keep me amazed. By now you think im crazy, Just completely out of my mind. On my words I send my love With my lusts hanging on the word I. Sometimes I’m twisted and upside down, And when crazy wishes end, I cry. On my words I state my achievements, With my faults spilling into the backspace. Sometimes I am beautifully unexplained, And when new adventures start,I chase.
