you are the pillar upon which i stand,
unwavering and unchanging.
You are the rock upon which i lay,
when the tide seems to sweep me away.
you are the grass underneath me,
which i can lay on in my times of ease,
you are the light that keeps shinning,
even through the most terrifying of nights.
you are my air and inspiration,
which cleanse me of all malevolant thoughts,and rather fills me with glee.
tears seem to feel eternal and so frequent,
but you, my dearest of treasures, are always there to bring a smile to my face.
the corrosion that is apparent to the heart,
oh so visible, and excrutiating.
But you, my brightest of stars, mend all of these wrongs.
pain has wrought havoc in every instance,
without discretion, and with only one finger to point.
but you, my most coveted creature, memories of the past seem to fade, at least for a little while.
Oh, may the heavens praise your existence.
may they also bless this instance, and make it real.
for an angel stands before, embracing me with its warmth.
