I'm a born again Christian - December 22, 2005. Im proud to be Baptist and God is a major part of my life. I go to church every week and also am a member of Young Life. In the end, we're all just chalk lines on the concrete, drawn only to be washed away. For the time that I've been given, I am what I am. Everything exists for a purpose. If something has no purpose, it does not exist. If you're not living life on the edge, you're taking up too much space. Friendship is like philosophy, like art - it has no survival value, but rather is one of those things which gives value to survival. Life's a bitch, because if it was a slut it would be easy. A true friend never gets in your way, unless you happen to be going down. Fear makes strangers of people who would be friends. Absence diminishes mediocre passions and intensifies great ones, just as the wind extinguishes candles and fans fires. Can miles truly separate you from friends? If you want to be with someone you love, aren't you already there? It is not only what we do, but also what we do not do, for which we are accountable. Anyone who doesn't make mistakes isn't trying hard enough. Only those who risk going too far can possibly know how far one can go. Let us not look back in anger, nor forward in fear, but around in awareness. To be trusted is a greater compliment than to be loved. Why do some people try so hard to fit in when they were born to stand out?
