My name is Viki.
I'm sixteen going into my Junior year
I write poetry, music, short stories and I'm working on my first novel.
I am learnin to play the guitar
And hopefully start a raw acoustic side project.

I sat and I waited
Trembling with the fear that I'd always be alone
Wishig, praying.
Waiting.
Along came a man without fear
Picking me up, helping me forget
He listened, cared.
It was the only time that I ever felt real
With shaking lips we kissed
Became one in that moment
I knew it was worth the waiting
But then I awoke
In a cold sweat with shaking fingers
And an unforgettable smile
"Just hold on" I whisper
Soon he'll be mine..

As the words of my soul
Bleed from the tip of my pen
I let out glimpse at who I am
A girl caged in what she was
Her eyes just black holes in the sky
She stares into the dark
Waiting. Waiting. Waiting.

She spins round. Round. Round.
Stuck in a permanent trip
Tryin to free her soul
From the depths of her manmade body
Uttering shine
Shine
Shine on
Shine until the sun has gone...
