I put my hands to my mouth and breathe,
there must be some kind of warmth inside of me.
Who knew the West coast could be so cold?
It's nothing like I've been told,
but I'm used to being lied to, aren't you?
I wish there could be some kind of thruth,
in the fairytales of my youth.

[03112009] I've got a secret.

So, yesterday Bring me the horizon finally released Suicide season: Cut up, a remix of their latest full-length. At first I was a bit sceptical about it, thinking it was going to be another "let's put some drum&bass beats to that song and call it a remix" but already the first track proves me wrong. It's more like the opposite, a few small artists produced songs and in their songs they used shreds of Bring me the horizon's songs. There is also a difference between the songs, they don't sound all the same. A big plus (personally then): Bring me the horizon worked with quite underground artists instead of the big ones, so they get a chance to prove their-selfs. Bottom line, if you're into partying and you like Suicide season then this cd is a big recommendation!

[28102009] This is Finale.

A little bit about the good things on surfing around really late.

I am checking out my twitter updates as I bump on a tweet from Every time I die "as promised, all FINALE songs are now available for download at www.myspace.com/thefinalemusic". Curious as I am, I decided to take a look.

The genre was specified as indie, I would rather go for folk/acoustic (think a little bit like City&Colour). I noticed Keith Buckley (vocalist of ETID) was on vocals. Knowing Keith has a sweet, sweet voice, this can't be bad! And yes; from the moment I heared the first note I was sold. There is also an acoustic version of one of their songs, this one touched me truely.

So if you either like Keith's voice or bands such as City&Colour, you have to check this out! I promise; you won't regret doing it!

[28102009] Fresh start.

Hello there, been around here for 4 years already. I wasn't very active lately, so it's time to change that!

A little introduction: I'm Nathan, I'm 18 years old. I'm straight-edge & vegetarian. My life is all about music & friends. Any questions? Shoot!

Since I'm doing a bachelor in journalism, I will be using this thing mainly for cd- & event reviews.

Well, that's about it for now, got any questions? Shoot! I promise I wont bite.
