Peace Under Water

Filling slowly with water, the car sank...deeper, deeper, deeper. Its what he wanted...peace....and he was getting it. The headlights tore through the darkness....searching for something. The bottom...but it was out of sight. Inhaling deeply, closing his eyes he treasured each breath. 9mm i his lap, knife on the dash... (thud) it hit the bottom... Cocking the gun....putting to head...pulling trigger. Shot muffled under the weight of the water seeping in... Secrets kept secret To the grave....
