The 9th grade is when high school really starts. People start to find their cliques and seperate into the groups they were either put in or went in. The pressure starts to build, parents want you to get good grades and stay on top of school. They also want you to join clubs abd sports to become more well-rounded person. Friends are a whole different kind of pressure they want you to have their back and do things with them. If they are trying drugs you may feel that in order to be cool to your friends and gain more popularity you have to do the drugs or drink the alcohol. The truth is you don't have to do something to be cool friends should remain friends no matter what. Pressure is one of the many things that goes on during the 9th grade. Exams are a way of finding out if your going to pass a class or not. Studying for tests becomes a way of life if you don't study you could fail and that isn't fun. Languages are another stress factor in school because you have to take a certain number of years in order to graduate. If your not good at learning laguages German is the easiest because it is closer to the English langauge. The Freshman Experience can be fum and can have its high points but, it can also have its low points. As long as you don't overstress and manage a good life while going through the first of three more years of high school, you should be fine. I'm ok and the Freshman Experience has had its challenges but it was fun.
