Love Can Hurt
True love is realizing what that other person wants or needs and then respecting it. Love hurts... Same old story...boy meets girl, they fall in love, in the end she falls much harder than him. How come you have enough time to go out and make other people fall in love with you, but you don't have enough time to pay attention to the one who already does love you? It hurts too much to love you the way I do, and then look at you and realize how much you don't care. You know you're in love when the hardest thing to say is, "good-bye." Love is when you shed a tear and you still love him. It's when he loves another girl but you still smile and say I'm happy for you when all you really do is cry. I'm here again, hugging my pillow wishing, it was you. Will you remember me? Will you remember us? Will you remember that kiss? Will you remember our first glance into each others eyes? Will you remember how much we were in love? I will because I will always love you. Even though we are no longer together I will love you for always and forever.Somewhere between all our laughs, long talks, stupid little fights, and all our jokes, I fell in love. I want to be his last call of the night, his dreams when he is asleep, his first thought in the morning, five hour conversations the ones with " no you hang up first ", him to make my heart race, hugs I never want to let go of, but most of all I want to be considered: HIS! You could fall in love in a second, its letting go that takes time. You wonder why I don't talk to you any more, and please believe me when I say its not that I dont want to, its that EVERTHING I want to say, I can't tell you any more. You know you love him, when you cant help but cry every night because you know he is not yours, he is hers.
