Poetry is not as big of a commitment,
say as,
writing a NOVEL would be.
It doesn't take as many IDEAS
or inspirational nouns to come together.
It just comes OUT.
It flows like a melody from our craniums,
wanting to be heard and thought OF as
beautiful.
We yearn to sound smart and
intellectually advanced.
Only a THIN sheet of paper
to hold us down,
from floating up into a
Deep Dark (stormy night)
that eats us in our entirety,
and we only sit back and watch.
One day this will become us.
We will only be as much as we give.
Our hearts. As thin and dry as
AIR.
Our hearts. As thin and dry as
AIR.
