and the sun a need to rise.

You gave light to obscurity,

and a purpose to the use of eyes.

You brought a gentle touch to pain, 

and a relief to unwanted urgency.

You supplied the lost with hope,

and an assistance to emergency.

You proffered ears for listening,

and a mouth for advice.

You provided me with felicity,

and i promise it will suffice.

You hold so much to offer,

and yet you say it isn't true.

But always i will argue back,
