Music is beauty. You can only hear it and yet it can be more beautiful than Mona Lisa, lovelier then Marilyn Monroe, and greater than any modern day actress or actor. Music doesn’t have a sex; it just is, so it can be loved by both men and women, so as long as the band lives up to the music anyone will love that song. If music is ever hated or not liked, it’s not the songs fault, it’s the band’s fault, they just didn’t express the true meaning of the song. Music is the only man-made thing that has even a touch of divinity; the love, the hate, the greed, the nothingness, the desire, the want, all of our very emotions can be reflected, all in 5 or less minutes, what else in the world could do that? Music can hold our hearts, calm our minds, change us from inside, touch our souls, or the exact opposite. I think God gave us music, or at least the ability to play or to learn how to play, to get closer to him, and isn't that what music does? That's exactly what it does, gets us as close as we can to be divine and mortal; music is mankind’s one divine nature.
