this is a poem a wrote a while ago

I never wanted to say goodbye

I wasn't ready, it was all a lie

I knew you still might have feelings for her

so I quietly left so you could be sure

I loved you so much

I just wanted you to find happiness

I had no clue that i would miss you

that it hurt so much

I miss your smile, your simple touch

I thought that leaving would be right for you

you could make your decision

you would know what to do

it's been a year now and i still regret leaving you that day

though i could never forget, never meant to hurt you

please know this: I'll always remember your kiss

so if we ever cross paths again

look me in the eyes and tell me...
