The good news is that it really was a rumor. The bad thing, last night he really did pass away--on my 16th birthday. Sucks...I was all having fun with my friends and then I came home and found my mom crying. I knew what she was crying about, and I cried myself to sleep. Poor kid, he didn't deserve to die like that...But he's not suffering anymore, which is a good thing. RIP Michael Soliz. read more

Please do me a favor and pray for this kid. His name is Michael Soliz and he's an eighth grader. He's been in the hospital with the swine flu/pnemonia/heart surgery/internal bleeding for almost a month now, and today someone told me he died today. I don't kno if it's true yet, since a lot of things can get mixed up in our town, but please pray it's just a rumor. It's really sad to think about a kid dying like that. So Tim's home. He came home earlier today and we went to see him. He doesn't have to have surgery cuz the bleeding stopped. The left side of his face is bandaged and he has scabs all over his arms and hands but he's alright! God has given him a great recovery. All he has is bad headaches and he's been having seizures in the hospital but I'm for certain he's absolutely fine now. Another Update on Tim: He woke up yesterday afternoon and he was hungry (which is good) and wanted to take a shower. Walking around now, had a scan at 3 in the morning, got his humor back so it's all good. Power of prayer for ya. Comin home in a few days and bleeding has stop. Thank God! read more

First of all, an update on Tim: Doin good, no serious stuff or anything like that. Worst is fracture in the skull and slow bleeding on the bottom of his brain. In the hospital 4-5 days, having scans done to monitor injuries, but all good. God is with him. Ok, now the real problem: Steven Ritchie. Well ok I go to high school, and today something really sad happened. A friend of mine, who's pretty well liked, named Timothy, got hit by a car today. See, I don't know all the complete details, but I do know that another student hit him. He had to be lifted to Lubbock, which is like 2 and a half to 3 hours away from where we live--he had a head injury.
