Just a poem I wrotee

From Neptune to Sahara

The rain falls down and chases away the heat;
Desert sands and broken bones mingling in your
Strangled tears and knotted pleads.
Young child, she won't hear your cries;
A million miles away lost in the sky.
Close your eyes, it's okay to lose sight
Of everything you once loved.
Toss the ashes, she's not coming back,
Hush your mourning, dear
She can't hear the fear of solitude in your tongue.
Just take my hand
We'll walk so far,
Through a desert of pain.
Together we'll be better off without
The walls closing in on us.
Shut your eyes for me and I promise
I'll sing to keep your mind at ease,
Death is only a plague, little one,
Not a disease.
