love would feel like...
i saw this question on yahoo answers: "If you could physically feel "love", what would it feel like?" this is my answer to what love would physically feel like to me: like eating an ice cream cone at your favorite concert (they usually get pretty hot, i think ice cream would be nice), while jumping on a bed of marshmallows, after finding jeans that fit just right, and getting a great night's sleep...with your love right by your side and their hand in yours :) that's what i'd like love to feel like to me :) hope ya like :) any thoughts?
resolutions, schmesolutions
i looovelovelove new years eve. it's pretty much my favorite holiday :) i love the excitement and vulnerability of a new year...and the relief that comes with being able to just start over. to just let go of the paast and the regrets and anything dangling by a thread. i love it all. except i don't do the whole resolutions thing. ya see, to me they're just empty hopes that are usually unrealistic, and fake promises to yourself that will never be fulfilled, or maybe just a way for people to prove themselves to the world. i think they're pointless. i can't stick to them. so instead, i jsut think of all the things i have to show for the past year...and usually think of not much. so this year, i decided to just think of all the ways i want this year to go. and then i'm gonna do all i can to make that happen. i wanna do something good. big and beautiful. cause then there's no empty promise for me to break. or endless hopes to dream about but watch fade away while sitting in the passenger's seat. no, none of that. just ideas i can actually put into action. just me and life, in a nice little face to face battle ♥ ***happy new years :)***
looooking back, and wonderin'...
so, the time has come to decide if 2008 was a good year for rock, overall. i think it was. i think a lot of great, classic bands (like ac/dc, stone temple pilots, rage against the machine...) made killer comebacks. like seriously, it shows that rock never dies :) and then, there were a billion amazing new bands that showed their faces. i fell in love with sooooooo many unsigned acts. some of em have some serious potential. yeah, we all know that cd sales are down, and crap like that. but its just forcing the record labels to be more creative with shows and merchandise...which is good. i think it's gonna make people re-fall in love with music. like, if we lose some, we're gonna experience the whole "don't know what you have til it's gone" thing. im definitely all for "having lows to get some highs". and i know, there were also alot of crappy bands that showed up..the watered down versions of rock idols, the ones that sound like clones of each other, the ones that just try too hard to be any good...but realy, when are we not gonna have that? everyone's always gonna be making music, some better than others. i just think we're more aware of that now than ever, cause of things like myspace. and besides, we'll never know what's good til we try :) im all about supporting new acts. so all in all, i think 2008 was rockin :)
love/hate
i love quite a bit. i was gonna post everything i love, but actually im not. just read my billoard thing to find out some things i love. but i really hate when guys are dbags. then they decide to try to fix it, then i fall for it cause i never truly let them go the first time, then its just this never effing ending vicious cycle. i hate it. i also hate feeling sick. i have the worst freaking cramps and im not even pms'ing. yeah.

well, i love music with all my ♥ :) last night i saw metro station, with white tie affair and cash cash...i love them now. theyre effing incredible.
