MY name is Brandie Chanelle; you can address me as either or both. I am seventeen years old and I love being this young, even though I know that it won’t last. I am a junior in high school. I am excited to graduate, but I can not help but ponder about what the future holds. I am unsure of what I want to do. However, I do have somewhat of an idea. I believe that I want to be a journalist. A music journalist to be more specific. I love music. I believe that it is the best form of expression because one can communicate so much in the simplest of lyrics. It amazes me how artists now are making music more for the money instead of for the arts. My favorite bands… The Beatles, All Time Low, The Starting Line, UnderOath, Set Your Goals. I have many more favorites, but those seem to get me through the toughest times, even when my family and friends can’t seem to help. MY family is a major part of my life. I find them my number one priority. No matter what, my family is there for me through thick and thin. My Poppy is my hero because I have messed up a countless number of times, but he is still there for me no matter what. I could never tell him how much he means to me. My Mother is my role model as a motherly figure. She has been so kind to us and she is so nurturing. She would do anything for her kids. Despite how badly the two want to split at times, they have endured it all because I believe that they are so in love. Through their fights, I know that I have my siblings at hand when I need to talk. My sisters Memory and Jenny are absolutely fantastic. I do not know them that well, but they are always there when anyone needs help. They are both very intelligent and giving. My brothers are my main influence. Michael(24) is the one that I can have intelligent conversations with. He keeps my feet on the ground and gets me to think logically. Nicholas(10) is the one that always cheers me up. He is the most adorable little boy and I hope that my son(whenever I have one) will turn out just as well as he has. He puts the sunshine in everyone’s day! Brandon(23) is the one that I can talk about relationships with. We are both very in touch with our emotions. Therefore, I can talk about any sort of guy problem with him. I also have friends that are like my family. I love my friends. Although I have two best friends, I treasure them with all my heart. They are both so dear to me because no matter what I can always trust them. Rachel is my best friend. She is such a sweetie and we have been through thick and thin together. We are always thinking just alike and we have almost everything in common. It is amazing that we have been friends for four consecutive years! Aaron is my other best friend. He is practically the opposite of Rachel because Rachel is quite giddy and Aaron is very low key. I talk music with Rachel and intellect with Aaron. I would not trade them for the world because I have come to find that they are the only reliable friends that I have. They help me through EVERYTHING, even guy issues. I am a hopeless romantic. I believe in love and fate. Love is a term that is used loosely these days, (“Oh I love you guy in my class that I don’t know well!”). It annoys me how people misuse the word. I am quite old fashion when it comes to matters such as that. I believe that love should be cherished and actually felt- not misconceived. People are changing the meanings to apply to whenever they feel necessary. I believe that God has already chosen your perfect soulmate and that he/she is out there if you honestly wish to find that person. I am a very optimistic person and I do not like it when people try to bring my mood down. Yes, I do make mistakes(so does everyone else), but do not judge me for whatever I may have done. I believe that you are in control of your life(even though God knows what you will do). Even though I do believe in rebelling against the common belief system that the teachers are trying to inform students of today, I do not want to enforce my beliefs through violence. I prefer to try as many peaceful ways as possible. I do believe that in all of this chaos, there will be a revolution. Possibly not in my lifetime, but there will be a revolution! LIFE is a game that you can not beat. Whatever happens will happen. Have no regrets and you will be fine. That is my belief. ! ~*BrandieChanelle*~!
