It was 1940's and 50's when the rock music was rooted and in year 1960's this genre of music developed. In year 1960's there were distinct rock music sub-genres that captivates the attention of people. Here are the the different emerged sub categories or rock music: folk rock, county rock, hybrid like blues rock and the jazz-rock fusion. And there were also the glam rock, progressive rock and  psychedelic rock. But recently, the sub genre that bloom are the indie rock, pop rock, rap rock and the known metal rock.

Along to the development of the sub genres of rock music, the showmanship of the artist or the singers also evolve whereas they tend to have signature to their performance. Thus, even the way the performer dressed up. The performance are must characterized with full energy and angst!

Not only the Rock Music, there are also some genre of music evolve that really influence the people especially the youth of today's generation.
