I'm 17, in grade 12 (my last year of high school)
My life is all about Jesus Christ and MUSIC! I am a singer/song writer/ (and i can scream, but haven't put that into many songs yet). I wouldn't say i am a guitarist, cause i personally dont think i am good enough to give myself that title. I love to sing and express myself through music and writing songs. I write most of my songs with my acoustic guitar, so they end up having the indie sound, but i find i am very punky. I wouldn't say i have tons of songs, but i have alot, so many that i dont actually know how many i have. : P
I also help lead worship for the youth group for Connexus Community Church (the church i attend). It's amazing. I love it.
I would have to say my favourite worship song is "How He Loves". AMAZING SONG
I am the lead singer of a band called "Shout The Secret". My amazing band members/best friends are Greg (guitar), Andy (drums), and Cody (bass), (we used to have other members but they are lame and quit) : P. We are a punky hardcore band from around Barrie, Ontario. We have been together for less than a year. Have a few songs happening. We would love to get big enough to eventually go on tour and get signed and be in a band together for years. But we dont know how likely that is cause there are so many bands out there that want the same thing.
we'll be playing shows soon, once we finish some solid songs.
we love playing music together and using our talents to glorify God. and if he has it planned for us to be a band together for a while and become well known, then that would be SICK. But only God knows that. we'll have to wait and see.
I'm a christian. And not the kind that just calls them self a christian. I choose to take the label and the lifestyle. I love Jesus Christ, and know that he died on the cross to save my life and i would be nothing without Him. I believe God has created everything and loves everyone so much. He has created us for a reason and he has a purpose for all of our lives. No one is useless, no one is a mistake.
It truly saddens me to know that so many people dont know Christ and go through life feeling empty and depressed because they have not found or accepted the one true love that Jesus has for them.
I wish everyone knew and felt the true happiness and peace that God can give you.
