With enough entries we hope to start a new show just to feature new bands The Freshman 15 radio show, a college radio show out of Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, was start in the fall 09 semester by Evan S, Mike P, and Griffin, the freshman year of the three young DJs. Featuring interesting off topic conversations and music from various rock genres, The Freshman 15 has quickly grown in popularity. All thought the show may seem to have an unfavorable time slot (1-2am Saturday mornings), the DJs are able to extend the length of their show thusly giving them more on air experience. With a vigor to tackle any negative feedback, modeling themselves after professional radio shows and with the add experience of a longer show, The Freshman 15 radio show is on par with even the longest running Quinnipiac radio shows. Although the show sounds great The Freshman 15 is looking to get the recognition from the radio station and the rest of the school. The show is always looking for ways to expand the fan base of the show, with the use of a live web feed from blogtv.com and cross promotion with unsigned bands, The Freshman 15 is working on gaining listeners from a wide range of places.
