So I have been heavily interested in music since before I can remember. My youth was spent sitting in the rocking chair next to the entertainment center with those big ass over-the-ear headphones plugged into the giant tape deck radio. I started learning to play the trumpet in the 5th grade and have loved it ever since. I will listen to just about everything, but my favorites are anything with a nice tempo - most rock, electronic, even some hip-hop. When I REALLY love something I hear, I tend to get goosebumps, but that doesn't happen very often (usually when I hear a really good trumpet player). Yeah, I'm a sucker for classical, but I have to be in the right mood. I love finding new bands and telling everyone I know about them, though I can be forgetful at times XD So yeah, music is pretty much a part of my DNA. There are times when I'm sitting in dead silence, but can still hear music playing - whether it's a real song i'm remembering or something completely original still escapes me as it's always so faint. meh, my head's a mess anyway haha I need to get some scores and start playing my trumpet again - i think it's getting lonely.
