Hi. My name is Wesley. I am 15 years old, turning 16 in August, and I am a very strict christian. I play bass guitar, electric guitar, acoustic guitar 6 and 12 stringed, drums, I sing scream and growl. I play bass and sing lead vocals in a christian hard rock / metal band. The thing I love the most in my life is my relationship with Jesus Christ, he's my best buddy. The thing that I hate the absolute most are stereotype people, like the people that call me "gothic freak" or "satanist". Anyways, If you're interested in learning more about me, check out my blog. Later all. And remember: Jesus loves you. God Bless.
Well I tell you, I have been in this situation at least 3 times in the last 2 years. I am sure that some of you guys reading this will be able to relate to this. It was August 1, and it was the opening day for the anual town festival. And on the first night of the festival, the town hosts the anual "Teen Dance". I didn't have a date to the dance, so i thought i'd just go and hopefully meet up with some of my friends. After about 2 hours of talking, hanging out, and occasionally doing some sarcastic dancing to a bunch of rap music, which is the music that i hate the most, the dance was almost halfway done. So, I was talking to a few of my friends when all of a sudden this girl walks right beside me, taps on my shoulder to get my attention, and starts asking me all these questions. She asked me how old I was, and if i had a girlfriend. Then she points to a girl sitting on one of the picnic tables nearby. Then she said: "Will you go over there and talk to my sister? She's kind of lonely, and she thinks you're cute." So I ask which girl she was, because there was two of them over there. She points to a girl with short black hair with long red bangs going diagonally down her face, wearing a white tanktop, black shorts, and a HIM scarf. I look at her and am thinking "wow, she's pretty." So, I start walking towards her and I sat right beside her on the picnic table and start making small talk. It was kind of an awkward moment, because it was so sudden. So for the remaining of the dance, we talked, hung out, and eventually danced. After a while she introduced me to her friend Sarah. She was cool. After the dance was over, they asked me to go swimming with them, since the festival is right next to the lake. So I went swimming. And for all my christian brothers, we all wore most of our clothes, and nothing bad happened. After that, we decided to meet the next day. So for the next 5 days, we were with each other constantly. I soon had figured out that they lived over 2 hours away from where I lived, which made me sad. If either one had lived in my town or close to it, i would have gone out with either one of them. I really hate being in this kind of situation. You meet a girl, you get to know them, you get to liking them, and they end up having to leave, and you'll probably never see them again. It has happened to me so many times, and i hate it. At least I got their information. but eventually we'll start to lose contact and i might not hear from them again. Has this ever happened to you? If you can relate to this, tell me about it. Later
Hey everybody. My name is Wesley, and I am 15 years old, turning 16 this August. I have long brown hair and I am semi-gothic. I play the bass guitar and sing lead vocals for my christian rock/metal band. I love music. Music is one of the most important things in my life. I especially love loud music. I love going to church and youth group. I play my bass in both worship services. I play a lot of instraments. I play bass, I play electric guitar, I play acoustic guitar (6 and 12 stringed), I am learning how to play the drums just for the heck of it, I sing, I scream, I growl. And on top of that, I played the claranet in the school band when we were forced to be in it during 6th grade. So if you add them all up including all the different types of singing, that makes 9 total. I really like movies. When nothing is really going on at night, I usually just pop some popcorn and plop myself in front of the TV and put in an awesome action, or comedy movie. I love popcorn, I make it all the time. Hot air popped popcorn is so much better than microwave popcorn, especially when you put lots of butter and salt on it. I love my parents, most of the time. My dad is really cool. He's a pastor. He usually lets me do what I want as long as it's not bad, although I sometimes have to do some convincing. My mom, well...my mom's not as cool. When I ask her to let me do something, and she says no, she means no and that's final. She's a teacher. I really like using the internet. I love listening to music and watching movies online. My favorite online cartoon is "Homestar Runner". It's so stupid but it's so funny. I especially like the Strong Bad emails. Other than that, I usually spend most of my time on PureVolume. As you can probably tell, I am a christian. My dad is a pastor, so I've pretty much been a christian since birth. When I was young, I used to be "Super Christian". Hey I was proud of that title. But then in Jr. High, I met a girl named Shauna, who became an accuantance of mine. I never really got to be friends with her much, but later I had met her best friend Angela. We were friends right off the back. After a short while we started going out. At the same time, my best friend, Jaye, had met Shauna's "other" best friend, Autumn. The five of us would always hang out, and I was the only real christian. Angela had christian parents and had gone to church every week, but had never really followed the christian life. Anyways, other than my friend, they were all i guess punk/gothic, kinda. So that's what led me to the gothicness. After all that, I started doing dumb stuff like swearing, taking the lords name in vain, and I started fading away from the christinan life. A few months had passed and then I woke up and decided to end this. I broke up with Angela and stopped hanging around everybody. Jaye goes to my school so i still hung around with him. The three girls go to a different school in a diff town. Eventually Jaye changed to their school so I didn't see him as much. After he became a satanist, i stopped hanging around him. After all that, I re-dedicaded my life to Jesus. I was stupid to leave the christian life just because of some girl. So now I only hang around with christian people and some neutral people. I only listen to christian music. I read my Bible every day and night. I'm studying the bible a lot. There will be a big test on it when we get to heaven so yall better study up. Jesus died for all of our sins so that we could live forever with him. No matter what the sin is, he will forgive you. He forgave me and he will do the same for you. Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry. I started talking about myself, and then i got into a big discussion on christianity and my past life. I do that a lot. Well thanks for reading all this. Later all, and remember, Jesus Loves You. God Bless
