Meet the Band:

Kyle - vocals, bass, and congas
Matt - drums and vocals
Lance - guitar
Sarah - vocals and keyboard
Nick - guitar

Bringing in influences from rock, punk, country, pop, blues, and funk Line of David conveys a message of grace and forgiveness. Elcectic as their influences are, their music blends together well to create a positive attitude toward life. Concieved in the summer of 2004 as the Three Amigos, Matt, Lance, and Kyle began creating music out of the many jams that took place at Matt's grandfather's house. Six months later the band was brought back together, this time as Line of David, to play at a local church's youth retreat. However, school seperated the band in the spring of 2005. Fortunately, summer came with an abundance of time. As they honed their songs, they realized they needed a more full sound than just drums, bass, and guitar, so they recruited Nick and Sarah. With a second guitar, a soprano voice, and the occasional piano, the band really started to grow to where they are today. Now they make music tinged with pop but rooted in rock n' roll. Their lyrics are catchy and deep. Nothing is sung that is not thought about, each line has a meaning, sometimes more than what is on the surface.
