irst off i would like to thank everyone who came out to the beat kitchen last week.
and as everyone knows, and even if you dont know, we're going to be taking a little bit of a break from music and live shows to regroup. we've all decieded that we need to come out strong and we want to make sure that we're happy when we come back as well. when glenn quit the band it made us think that we have to make smart decisions, not fast decisions. so right now we're in the process of looking for a new bass player. we want a new fulltime member not just someone that wants to play shows and not just someone that wants to be in a band, i want someone that wants to be in THIS band. because this means so much to the three of us that i want the new fourth member to love our music just as much as we do. he/she should want to work for this band just as much as we do. plus we have to make smart decisions because he/she will also be someone that we will be writing alot of music with as well, so there has to be a good relationship between all four of us.
but don't think that we're just going to be sitting around waiting for someone to show up and save the day. we'll be doing a little bit of indipendent recording in the next week. there will be some new videos up on our myspace page and the street teams page as well. some of them will be funny, some will be accoustic versions of our music, some might be some cover songs and there will even be two videos featuring two brand spankin new like dolls songs. we have two new songs that very few people have heard {"the note" and "2north"} and since its taking a little while for the cd to come out i thought it might be fitting to show people what the next cd might sound like. so keep your eyes open for our blogs and bullitens to see when the videos will be posted.
also just to let everyone know that we're in the process of designing the cover and booklet for the cd "if walls could talk. if people could listen." as well as saving up to get it pressed and dublicated so that all of you beautiful people can have your very own copy. i've been getting kinda stir-crazy because we're all so proud of the cd and we want all of you to hear it. so i hope you're all looking forward to it as much as we are.
so hey lemme ask everyone for a favor. so noone goes and forgets about us anytime soon i'm going to be doing new stuff on the myspace page every day. and the first thing i'm going to do is change our 'top friends'. there are going to be as many as possible(i dont know how many you can put up, i think its 40 now hahahaha) so here's the deal. if you add one of our songs to your myspace page or put us on your top friends i'll add you to ours. so if you wanna be on our top friends just add one of our songs to your page or add us to your top friends and then send us a comment letting me know about it and/or a message with your email address so that i can find you in our friends list.

hello everyone
for those of you who know our names and all that jazz this is vince. we're in the studio right now and everything is going fantastic. last week i finished all of the drum tracks last week. and now we're on our second day of guitars. and everyone is having so much fun. the songs are comming along great. all the bass tracks are done and dan just finished all of his guitar work like right now actually and we're sitting here talking about what he just finished, he says hi! and now we're just thinking of new stuff to put in. joey is one song away from finishing as well. it feels so good to be this close to be done but also there is so much to do that is going to be fun this weekend when we do the vocal track. our second day of vocals is actually my birthday so thats gonna be super fun, also i'm pretty sure that i'm going to be a lil drunk on that day but its okay i'm turning 22 and its all legal!!! after this weekend the entire record will be all recorded and we just have to wait a week to mix it all together and make the final touches on this so that it can be as good as we can make it for all of you.
if you didnt know we're planning to have our cds out by may. thats right i said CDS, that means two. we're going to release a double disc dual e.p. for everyone to listen to. 12 songs total. the original 6 from the excuse e.p. re-mastered then these 6 brand new songs we're titling the silverlining e.p. all for one low price that i dont even know because they dont let me make those decisions. the name of the dual cd will be "if walls could talk. if people could listen." the cd release party will be somewhere near the middle or end of may. and i hope when we release the date that i can see everyone there.
this is going to be awkward cause i dont know how to end this so......
