LIGEIA are four Irish kids from Massachusetts, formed by Keith Holuk and Ryan Ober in December 2003. After many line up changes, Ligeia formed into its finest with the addition of Bryan Forbes and Patrick Murphy. Ligeia has been touring DIY since they started and played just over 300 shows in the 2006. They have raged across the U.S. and Canada many times as well as pulling stunts in the U.K., Belgium, and The Netherlands. They have toured with such bands as Remembering Never, Misery Signals, Haste The Day, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Ion Dissonance, Ringworm, August Burns Red, Ed Gein, From A Second Story Window, Heavy Heavy Low Low, and played countless shows with many other awsome bands. Their debut record "Your Ghost is a Gift" was recorded in December 2004 by Ken Susi of Unearth and released in late March 2006 on Ferret Music.

So what the hell is Ligeia anyways? Pretend to care now because you won't once you actually find out. Believe it or not it's a girls name, imagine that, its a hot, dead female. Well they don't really know if she was hot or not, but we can all just pretend. It's also a story by a dead author, Edgar Allen Poe. He married his cousin, and the band thinks thats pretty cool.
