The band has been hard at work for several months to complete this project, overcoming many hurdles along the way, including a nearly severed finger of Drummer Dustin Bennett and lineup changes. This family unit stays strong and persistant & If the music heard so far says anything "the wait will be well worth it"

The Vacant Stare is Lifted's best work to date, and provides fans with full artwork and packaging featuring the work of Tim Pospisil who also created the bands first ep cover which sold close to 900 units without distrobution.

There have been some bright spots along the way - Bassist and backup vocalist Brenda Bennett won a national Competition hosted by guitar worlds "Bass Guitar magazine" and was featured along with lifted in the jan/feb issue and again in the april 06' issue featuring Cliff Burton on the cover.

Coming off from several national openings for bands such as (Thousand Foot Krutch, Allele, and Revelation Theory) which included a sellout crowd @ The Machine Shop in Flint, MI. Look for this band relentlessly touring this summer all over the midwest and tearing up there home state of Michigan!
