Libretto are the Sarawaks indie band formed in Kuching in 2002 and currently based in East Malaysia.Libretto means lyrics or story of drama musical in opera.;it is represent the combination of music composition that played by the band.

Libretto began as Wet Nurse in 2002..it was started by Reynold Ahviet together with Richie Patrick.Then Reynold decided to expand the band into a complete project by recruited Mark on guitars and Ashton on bass.It was then Gavin together with Hakim joined and the band is in tight unit.Since 2002,Wet Nurse began writing their own songs almost immediately and quickly amassed a repertoire of original material and growing following.From that moment on,the band played in lots of shows/gigs in Kuching,Sarawak..still the band hasnt release anything except playing live.However the band did involved for an indie complilation Kuching Unsigned Vol 1in 2002 with a song call Pua Kumbua very Sunny Day Real Estate sounding..that band was their early influences .In 2004,Wet Nurse decided to changed the bands name to Libretto.

As LIBRETTO,this configuration released their 1st demo entitled 100 Shows contains 5 songs i.e Inquisitorial , The Thieves Song , Sorry , Magna Carta , and The Cures cover Boys Dont Cry.The demo was printed in a very limited copies.Somehow some of it even make it to the Indonesias underground scene.Libretto also got invited to gigs in Jakarta but somehow due to some exceptional circumstances, the band cannot make it happened.

In September 2005,LIBRETTO recorded their EP called This Is An EP which was recorded by Morgan (Telebury).Influenced primarily by likes of Fugazi,Cursive,andTrail Of Dead,this EP released in Dec 2005.This Is An EP consists of 5 tracks includes Death of a,Handle This Manually,Magna Carta,Every Summer Has Its Ghost and the post-romancing the view of trailer headline for the movie entitled The Murder of Fenny Bates.

Mid this year ,Libretto recorded their 2nd EP Disc:losure with 5 tracks at 101 Studio KL.
Libretto are pleased to announce that their new EP entitled Disc:losure will be released in East and West Malaysia on Octocer 2007.The track listing will be as follows :

* Disc:losure EP is now on studio post-production process of final mastering and reassemble the track sequencing.
