LEVITIKUS are a 4 piece Screamo/Alternate band from Sydney. Forming in early 2004, the boys concentrated on rehearsing and developing their unique style and commenced gigging in 2005. They played over 40 shows in that year and got the chance to share the stage with some big Aussie acts including Irrelevant, After The Fall, Behind Crimson Eyes and Town Hall Steps.

Levitikus are highly respected by the local media and in recent months have established new relationships and recognition interstate.

In 2005 Levitikus were interviewed for several articles in Campbelltowns local newspapers highlighting their success in Melbournes Future Rock Competition. Future Rock began with more than 400 entries from which 75 bands were invited to attend first round heats in Sydney and Melbourne. 28 bands then went on to the semi-finals and the top 8, competed in the Grand final at the Hard Rock Cafe in Melbourne, where Levitikus hit 3rd spot in the national comp. The judges decribed Levitikus to have the most unique sound and vocals they had ever heard.

They then went on to do interviews with local radio station C91.3 and were the featured and front cover band in Sydneys Keyed Youth Magazine - a young, rock music mag. It was then that Levitikus were deemed Campbelltowns Finest.

This year has been the biggest year for Levitikus, they have released their self-titled demo which sold out within 2 months, started gigging at 18+ venues all over Sydney and are currently planning their end of year tour to Melbourne.
