Le Monnier are a cutting edge rock band from Hertfordshire (UK) – a female fronted, power trio. A prime, fresh mix of rock and metal music with a classical charm and influences stemming from Alice in Chains, Metallica and Evanescence.
In 2005, Alexandra Le Monnier (Vocals and Bass Guitar) set out to find musicians who wanted the same as her; to write music, record and tear it up live. Matt Keil (Guitars and Piano) soon joined and together they developed a band with ambition, energy, passion and an exciting mix of aggressive music and beautiful melodic vocals. Their 2009 debut album ‘Cynic Sister’ set the scene for a musical journey that has seen them become one of the most exciting prospects in rock ‘n’ roll today.
