"Lefutray" is a word taken from the Mapudungun language meaning "fast sound."
â€¨The band Lefutray started in January 2005 and became a real project in November of the same year. The band members include Leonardo Gacitua on guitar, Yonattan Munoz on drums, Christian Bravo on bass, Cristian Olivarez on guitar, and Alonso Ramirez on vocals.â€¨â€¨ In 2006 Lefutray recorded their first E.P. which includes old versions of songs, such as "Caigo y Sangro", "Dolor" and "Enfermando tu Alma". â€¨â€¨Through the years Lefutray has attempted to find their own music style, mixing different influences such as thrash metal, death metal, groove metal and mathcore.
â€¨By fusing these elements together, Lefutray have composed different metal songs showcasing explosive breakdowns and dissonant tones, while maintaining fluency in each song. Combined with powerful vocals, Spanish lyrics focused on personal struggles, and existential themes, an intense unexpected metal is created. â€¨â€¨In January 2009 Lefutray released their first L.P. titled "Frente al Fin" with 10 powerful tracks.
