The Left Coast Avengers started as one thing above all things. A party band, a way to have fun. The line up has always been the same, although the instruments have been switched, and we have progressed a long way from recording acoustic songs (that were pretty much made up as they were recorded) on a home computer with the Windows Sound Recorder program.
Today, we try to write the best punk/hardcore/ska/celtic/metal/folk/screamo/madness that we can. Maybe not all that in one song, but rest assured that you can't say you don't like The Left Coast Avengers because we probably have a song for everyone. Whether you are broken hearted, feel like headbanging, ready for a mosh pit, want to river dance, or just gotta skank the night away.
And to think it all started with, " Hey Conley. We should start a punk band."
