Last House on the Left was formed in early 2005, and found it's current line up late Spring-05 after the release of the band's first demo. Drummer Chris Chapelane was replaced by rhythm guitarist Daniel McBride, and Jeremy Mader was brought in on the right handed battle axe.

LHOTL has played with bands such as Winds of Plague, Dead to Fall, Ion Dissonance, Exhumed, Disgorge, Impaled, Losa, My Bitter End, Invocation of Nehek, Antagonist and As Blood Runs Black just to name a few.

The band's influences range from old school death metal, such as Danzig, Into Eternity, Metallica and Vital Remains, to today's breed of hardcore influenced metal bands like The Acacia Strain, Through the Eyes of the Dead, Job For a Cowboy and Winds of Plague. Their sound is definitely unique, and refreshing in a time where most bands are going for the same sound. Last House on the Left is hard-hitting, brutal, relentless, melodic, epic, and extreme.

You will see moshing and/or dancing at a Last House show. Last House appeals to metalheads and even hardcore kids, and that is definitely an advantage.
