In todays ever changing music scene it is rare to find a band that sticks around, that doesn't conform and do what everyone else is doing. Lady Elaine is that band. Formerly The Broken, Lady Elaine have been spitting out songs left and right with a boat load of fans to boot. With a strong hold on the Colorado Underground, and a growing popularity throughout the nation this band is set to explode with in the next year or two. With the success of their sophmore EP "Silence Is Beauty" with which they toured the southwestern US, and after almost a year and a half without putting out a new EP here it comes "The Weight Of The World" which is set to release in March of 2006 the band has never been more on top of their game. This EP is part of a 2 part EP the second is to come sometime in June right before tour.

"this new name, new songs, new EP it's really nice and refreshing for us as a band! We feel like we are free to move around a bit and explore and find new sounds and styles..." says front man Drew Dahlman.
