ZenHill Records is the creation of Record Producer Dan Workman and Filmmaker W. Ross Wells. Begun as mentoring project to help gifted young artists apply business and marketing skills towards their career development, ZenHill rapidly built a diverse roster of talented and critically-acclaimed recording artists. ZenHill operates on a "new paradigm" business model that allows artists to retain complete control of their intellectual property and strictly prohibits them from getting into debt with the label. SugarHill Recording Studios is the oldest continuously-operating recording studio in the US and has a rich musical history. SugarHill has hosted Willie Nelson, Freddie Fender, Lightnin' Hopkins, Beyonce, The Rolling Stones, and countless other recording artists and has a legacy of churning out hit records. Zenfilm is an Emmy-winning production company recognized for national commercial work, popular music videos and original content for the online audience. Pooling the resources of two strong brands, ZenHill Records blends one-of-a-kind emerging artists with extremely sophisticated resources to facilitate artistic growth, business skills, and audience development.
