The newest band to the Right Eye Records family: THE SASS The Sass' debut full-length album “Bleach Blonde” is scheduled for release on Tuesday July 26; it is the label’s ninth release since it’s inception in 2001.
The Sass’ music is a mix of mid-90's style rock with pop leanings and a strong dose of alternative-indie rock, with influences from their previous punk-emo style. The forthcoming album hops from thick, heavy rock songs to slow, ambient, but catchy, indie-rock tunes, but it all fits well together as one cohesive unit.
The album "Bleach Blonde" was recorded at Workbook Studio (one of the best in Columbus) and was mastered by Alan Douches, who has worked with everyone from Brand New to Ben Folds Five to Thrice to Fatboy Slim. The band has toured down South and around the mid-west a few times and is looking forward to building a stronger national fan-base with their full West and East Coast tours in July and August.
The album is designed to bring back memories of the awesome alternative rock bands of the mid-90s bands, but update the style with a modern progressive edge. The Sass wants to redefine what rock music is and find a home with listeners of all different types of genres.

The Skylar’s Dream debut album "A Parting Gift" is OUT NOW. They create music that has a healthy mix of pop, emo, and rock (and even some punk), and they intertwine their vocals to produce catchy and powerful songs. Fans of bands such as Dashboard Confessional, John Mayer, Death Cab for Cutie, Mae, Jimmy East World, and Michelle Branch will surely like their infectious brand of creative tunes. They have a wide range of musical interests and influences, but they get most of their original roots and inspiration from the punk, emo, and pop-rock scene. This album truly showcases their mix of emotions and styles: from update pop-rock to mellow acoustic anthems.
