One New Song Up and Many More In The Making

Hey everyone, we have just put Poster Girl up on the web and we hope you all like it, that was our last project before all going back off to college, and we would like to thank Sean for all of his time and dedication on the affair of recording, mixing, and mastering the song. We are hoping to get together really soon to work on some more new songs for you, and be sure to look out for us playing a show in Houston sometime in December where we will unveil many of the new ideas we have.

A Most Unfortunate Event

We regret to inform our fans that Chase Evans has stepped down as our drummer. We wish him the best in whatever he does in the future, but want to assure the fans that this does not mean Kushak will stop. We are now on the search for a new drummer at the moment so if you or someone you know wants to try out then just give us a hollar at kushak@kushak.com. For the rest of the summer we have decided that we will take a break from shows and focus our energy on writing new material and possibly recording some of the new songs for a demo which as we said in the previous news bulletin we will periodically put up on our Purevolume and Myspace pages. Don't worry kids we know how to handle member changes because it happens often when there are so many people in your band, so its all good and we will be back on our feet in no time.

Please Read (WE NEED YOU)

After many talks we as a band have collectively decided to embark on finding a new lead singer to front this thing we like to call Kushak. NO Blaine did not quit and we are not kicking him out. We all came to this decision together and think that it is best for the band. So with that being said we need your help...We are currently looking for someone who wants to step up and sing. We're looking for someone charismatic, who won't be afraid to rock out alongside us. Someone who is capable of putting some serious time and effort into this band. While the music and lyrics are a lot of times a collective effort, we'd like someone who can write as well as play guitar, although the latter is not required we're hoping you may be able to throw your two cents in when we begin writing new material this coming summer. Aside from taking a role with the creative side of things other duties may very well include booking shows, organizing practices, designing merch, etc. etc. So with all this said, if you feel as though this is something that you may be interested let us know!

P.S. -Aside from learning the older songs to possibly be played in the future ar shows, we will be taking a lot of time this summer to write NEW material and find the sound we've been looking for.The older material isn't neccessarily what we will be sticking with...a new singer might change the sound entirely so hit us up and let's work something out. And hopefully you won't bother auditioning if your livin' in bumsville, Idaho. No offense to those in Bumsville but it's kind of a long drive you know?

Hey Guys and Gals!

We are smack dab in the middle of writing tons of new material and booking shows for this winter and plannning out our summer 06 tour. We are trying to make it to California and back in a 3-week span so we are all very excitied. We're working on getting some current music on an upcoming comp CD on Windandrain Records. Other than that, that's pretty much all the news for now. We really appreciate everyone' support and suggestion so feel free to tell us what you think!
