It has been 20 years of history. A history that started like many other underground bands.Five friends with something in common, the love for the heavy metal. More specifically to the trash metal. The carrer of this band took-off in the national Brazilain scene and in the international market, touring around Europe (playing in the famous London house Marquee Club) and performing in big festivals like Phillips Monsters of Rock in So Paulo, Brazil. After five years without releasing any new album (live at Monsters of Rock released in 2000) and ten years without releasing any album only with unreleased songs (last one was K.Z.S. released in 1995) Korzus is introducing to the market the wonderfull Ties of Blood. The return happens in a moment when trash metal is beeing reborn with full power in the whole world withbands like: Exodus, Destruction and Death Angel. Ties of Blood brings us 14 hard hiting tracks.


It started to be produced in 2001 by the guitar player Heros Trench and was recorded and mixed at the Mr. Som studio in So Paulo. The CD count with special participations of great names of the Brazilian rock scene: Andr Matos (Shaaman / Ex-Angra) and Helcio Aguirra (Golpe de Estado) playing in the track Evil Sight; Andreas Kisser (Sepultura) performing a solo in Correria; while Redson (Colera), Boka (Ratos de Poro), Joo Gordo (Ratos de Poro) and the singer Otto, from the band Fora Macabra are in the track Pea Perdo. Tracks likeGuilty Silence and Screaming for Death follow basicaly the trash metal style with special atention o the guitar riffs of Silvio Golfetti and Heros Trench. This new album also invades diferent music styles like the punk/hardcore tracks Pea Perdo and Evil Sight with a touchof melodic metal. Marcello Pompeu (Vocals), Silvio Golfetti (guitar), Heros Trench (guitar), Dick Siebert (bass), and Rodrigo Oliveira(drums) show that Ties of Blood was built with a lot of strength, hard working and a huge dose of love to Metal.
