Members: Simon Langford & Alex Sowyrda

Koishii & Hush (a/k/a Simon Langford and Alex Sowyrda) have been working together for just over 3 years and in that short time, have made a marked impact on the dance world. What makes this production duo unique is their trans-Atlantic work method. Simon hails from the UK, while Alex resides in Canada, meaning that when they are not in the studio together (which is currently about twice a year) they collaborate online on all of their projects.

Simon had his own chart success as of the trance duo Dreamcatcher, churning out hits like I Don't Wanna Lose My Way and Twisted, both making the UK Top 20. Alex has worked with several labels and artists including Hiver & Hammer, M.I.K.E. (Push) and Hemstock & Jennings to name a few, as well as being the driving force behind Hush Music.

In the past year alone they have completed remixes for INXS, Fuzzbox, Danny Elfman, Darren Tate, Dannii Minogue and several others. Now signed to Cordless Recordings worldwide, Koishii & Hush have already released their first few clusters! The Promise, a progressive trance-fest featuring 80s legends When In Rome, Flow Through Me, an original composition featuring actress Meredith Salenger, (one version thats incredibly dancefloor friendly and the other, more suited for the lounge and hookah bar. Downtempo and chill).

Next up for Koishii & Hush are three new singles: Calling, an original track with Suzanne Shaw of the UK pop supergroup HearSay, a new take on the B-Movie classic Nowhere Girl AND their stellar remix of INXS Need You Tonite.

Meredith Salenger had this to say about her experience with Koishii & Hush: I found out through my agents that there was a production team from Canada & the UK that were interested in using my voice for one of their songs. I had recently started doing voiceover work and thought they had stumbled across me because of that, but in fact, they had simply been fans of mine - and liked my voice... I wrote the lyrics and recorded them and Alex & Simon (Koishii) wrote & produced the music. I was thrilled to hear they were one of the first acts signed to Cordless and I can't wait to work with them again!
