Here are a few reviews !!!
"When the majority of the tracks on your debut can be regarded as either epic or downright incredible you would be justified in thinking you are something quite special, and that alone aptly describes what these Devon-based atmospheric rockers are. Klay manage to demonstrate intricacy and innovation of which only a handful of contemporary acts are capable."

"This Devon quartet's debut full-length has been much celebrated, and 'Day One/Day Four' unites the jerky vocals of Glassjaw's Darryl Palumbo with the irregular guitars of iForward, Russia! to produce a cross genre masterpiece."

"Armed with a sackful of effects pedals and a natural aptitude for penning powerful, genre-busting rock epics, Klay inhabit similar territory to modern prog and post-rock titans like Oceansize and Mogwai, but like those bands they have an identity which is entirely ther own. From fidgety, angular left-field rock to swoon-inducing shoegazer anthems, Klay proudly proclaim their open-minded modus operandi, and have the collective charisma and self-assurance to win over large sections of rock's broad church of support. Their journey promises to be a fascinating one."
~ Metal Hammer 'September 07'
"Commanding the modern spirit of alternative rock Klay are beautifully hard to define. They are unpredictable while still bursting with melody and, though vocalist Paul might possess the undeniable flavour of Brandon Boyd, Klay, as a unit, sound little like incubus. They sing about love without being emo and, perhaps most impressive of all, actually manage to ryhme 'painted skies' and 'your eyes' without sounding either cringe-worthy or cliche. There is undoubtedly something utterly perplexing about these guys yet, far from the rancid road kill that you wish you didn't notice, Klay are intricate and very carefully crafted. This debut appears far from an accident yet, if im wrong its certainly a lucky mistake."

"'Invitation To An Accident' has so much to offer. It's a joyful mash up of quiet/loud, of tunes and riffs, of the gentle and subtle and the jagged and heavy but it's done with such conviction and skill that they make it sound easy."
~ Subba Cultcha 4/5
"Perhaps it is the quiet that has inspired them to create such a full on sound, packing in sound whenever a moment of stillness might have appeared in a normal composition. The band have created their music in layers with a base melody and then in various ways, splashed, sprayed or woven sounds in or over the top to enhance the feel, sometimes we have exquisite melodies woven together but on other songs it is like sharp objects have been jammed into the tapestry. This is an album you will play again and again."
