In a flooded market, it is nearly impossible to gain attention while creating and maintaining a unique sound and style. Kilowatt, although a young band in terms of existence, have already made a powerful impact with their honest conversational lyrics mixed with intricate, yet unpretentious music. Proudly hailing from Pittsburgh PA, Kilowatt is well rounded with Paul Menotiades (formerly of Punchline) handling lead vocals and guitar, Jesse Hall on Bass and Vocals, Matt Fuchs playing Guitar and Vocals, and lastly Derek White on Drums and Vocals. The band takes pride in what each member has to offer, not in terms of what instrument each member plays, but how the final product can appeal to the audience. Although it can sometimes be time consuming and frustrating, Kilowatt is determined to keep the integrity of their music at the forefront. Kilowatt is in the process of recording an EP, which they will tour full time to support in late summer 2006.
