KiLL ThE MoNKeY

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in December 2001, KILL THE MONKEY has evolved into an Agro-Alternative Metal band that has more than simply the hook necessary to rock the n-metal scene. In early 2002, when KTM decided to record its first demo, the songs chosen Deep Inside, 4saken y Believe showed clear influences by bands like Linking Park, Limp Bizkit and Korn. A year later, and with the help of a new producer, KTM embarked on the recording of its first CD Basta! which is considered to be a milestone in Argentinean Agro-Alternative music.

KILL THE MONKEY is characterized by a head-smashing sound and catchy vocal lines that make listening to its songs a thrilling experience. Besides, the bands outstanding live performance capabilities have allowed the musicians to rule the metal scene in Argentina and granted the band the chance to be ILL NINOs opening act in Chile in 2004. Moreover, KTM frequently stages unplugged shows that delight even the most demanding audiences. Thus, this band is a must for all those people who love Agro-Alternative music and all similar styles.
