If someone told you they got their band's name from a disgruntled work day in an adult film shop, chances are that band just might be us.
Born out of a general dissatisfaction with the current trends in popular music, Killing Chloe is an experimental rock act from Dayton, Ohio who's name is, in fact, the result of a porno stocking session gone bad. Sometimes seeing too much of a certain adult starlet leads to a great story and an even better band beginning.
With a firm belief that music is about expression and connecting with others through experiences, Killing Chloe shares stories of loss, love, fear, self preservation, and the always popular crazy relationship song. With an unyielding rhythmic and atmospheric laden core, this band is leaps and bounds absent from the current flavor of the week musical trends plaguing the Ohio Music scene.
2009 marked the band's first official release, "The Okapi & Other Myths That Exist - Vol 1", which features the local and internet hits Okapi, Pariah ,and The Watchers. This 3 song installment of the EP, which is available for download on Itunes, was produced by 101 Production's Charles Fisher, and features mixing by the legendary Drew Mazurek.
2011 Marked the Release of " Confront & Embrace " the band's first self produced release .
With a subsequent east coast tour in line for much of the spring/summer months ..
