Kennet Kurman, aka k42, was born 1981 in a small city called Ekens in southern Finland. He grew up with a secret dream that he one day would become a big and famous musician. At the age of ten he got his first keyboard synth as a birthday present. However he never really learned to play it that well.

It took until 1996 in 7th grade before he met the right friends that would give a start to his dreams. He started to take guitar lessons, and not long after that he started a rock band called Splender together with two of his classmates, where he played the guitar and sang backing vocals. In the year 2000 however he quit the band of personal reasons.

The desire for making music was still strong for the ex guitarist, so he finally turned into electronica. This was an easy way for him to get his thoughts into melodies, without having to be depending on anyone else. In 2004 he finished his first self produced CD, including songs such as Tomorrow, Secrets and The Summer Sun. After this he has got great response from people all around the world after listening to it.

By making his sound melodical and rhythmical he tries to create tunes that will bring people to the dance floor and to pass the joy of his music forward to the listeners.

His two new singles Beyond the Twilight and Painted Blue has done nicely on charts on the Internet. Beyond the Twilight has been played on clubs in the USA, and on radio stations in different countries.
