June in December; the name of this young band reflects the essence of their music. A pile-up of contrasts ultimately resulting in a harmonious unity. From a hot sauna right into an ice-cold immersion, and back. Rewind, repeat.

June in December, a whirlpool of energy exploding off of the stage with every single performance. Vicious guitarplaying and a madman behind the drums. Sturdy basslines and a fringe of dramatic piano tones. Melodious vocals and malicious screams. Freakrhythms that will eat their way into your brainbark, only to haunt you from there for days to come.

June in December; no frontman, no frontwoman. A colorfull collective of individuals that spark interaction by means of music, confined within a musical front.

June in December, embodied in the late spring of 2006. Already in 2007 they became the winners of the Drentse Popprijs; played shows at Liberation Day-festival, Assen; Black MotoCross festival, Lichtevoorde; Paradiso, Amsterdam and will release their first studio EP corntendon. As far as the futures concerned; 2008 holds the prospect of a show at Eurosonic, De Melkweg, more songs and more shows.
