Independent musician and composer, starts playing guitar in 1997 at age 16, the influence of rock n 'roll national 80s. Falls in love with classical guitar and gets to perform at the "Teatro Municipal de Barueri", in 1998, along with other students in the course offered by the city.

Follow studying by himself, buying his first guitar in 2002. He begins to hear guitarists such as Yngwie Malmsteen, Stevie Vai e Joe Satriani, always seeking to assimilate technical, rather than repertoire. Influenced by these musicians get to hear great composers of classical music as BBach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Paganini, among others. Log some instrumental compositions in the National Library.

In 2004, starts playing with the band Osasquense A Feets Pi Gold, with whom he recorded an independent CD in 2006, with the help of musician and friend Daniel Amaro. Jorge da Matta has great influence on Brazilian popular music and American Folk. Currently her own records, edits and mixing and disseminate their work over the Web.

Musico e compositor independente, comeca a tocar violao em 1997, aos 16 anos, por influencia do rock n' roll nacional dos anos 80. Apaixona-se pelo violao erudito e chega a se apresentar no "Teatro Municipal de Barueri", em 1998, junto a outros estudantes do curso oferecido pela prefeitura.

Segue estudando como autodidata, compra sua primeira guitarra em 2002. Começa a ouvir guitarristas como, Yngwie Malmsteen, Stevie Vai e Joe Satriani, sempre em busca de assimilar tecnicas, mais do que repertorio. Por influencia desses músicos comeca ouvir grandes compositores da musica erudita como, Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Paganini, entre outros. Registra algumas composicoes instrumentais na Biblioteca Nacional.

Em 2004, comeca a tocar com a banda Osasquense A Feets Pi Gold, com quem gravou um CD independente em 2006, com a ajuda do musico e amigo Daniel Amaro. Jorge da Matta tem grande influencia de MPB e Folk Americano. Atualmente faz suas proprias gravacoes, edicoes e mixagem e divulga seu trabalho pela Web.
