jordangerous

let's break it down now. jordangerous is a mixture of different identities in which different people identify the artist by. his name is jordan first and foremost, various friends call him dan. and he came up with dan gerous, a name which in this case, when put together spells "dangerous", which he made up as a stage name for his wild-style of guitar playing. we will just call him dan.

dan first picked up the guitar at the age of 7. he recieved a cruddy one-half sized guita from his aunt, which seemed to look like it came from a cheap gift ordering catilog from china. he then hadn't touched it till he was 10, when he learned his fist chords and open string names. he then got serious with his guitar playing at the age of 11 to 12 where he learned various new chords and what-not from another one of his guitar playin aunts. he played a bit here and there, yet it wasnt till dan hooked up with Matthew Ng, and Theodore low, two guys that jordan had grown up with ever since he can remember. these two boys inspired dan in becoming a more progressive guitar player than either one of them could foresee. this trio of course put together their already musically talented minds, and their still musically learning ability to embark on an idea in which established the work of "WaterToWine". after dan had been getting serious with his guitar, he then took his objection as a guitarist to a level where no one had thought dan could achieve. he then began to pick up heavy picking guitar licks, learning fast picking solos, and of course the most important, alternative picking. dan progressed his serious guitar playing in this, his more DanGerous guitar playing.

yes, as stated, dan had recorded his first album at the age of 14 along side with Theodore Low and Matthew Ng, in their first "WaterToWine" worship album in 2003. since then the group has been on and off on recording new material, but when they are together with their instruments in hand, they do revert back to their " high school hey-days". what dan considers a true and formitable past time, the memories of late summer afternoons, and worship set prep still linger in the years of his past and will most certainly show up again in his future.

"seriously though, i never thought you would ever get this good at guitar, i never thought you'd ever get this good at anything, but you did it man."-theo said somethin like this once to dan. a proven musician and friend, since then dan has basically doubled his guitar playing skills, in his speed, and in his knack for finding a solo for anything.
